Along the Wasatch Front and throughout the Rocky Mountains, there are some of the best skiing locations. Additionally, the 2002 Winter Olympics were even hosted in Salt Lake City, Utah, so there are lots of famous Olympic sites that provide opportunities for winter sports experiences. If your kids are interested in playing in deep, fluffy snow, or want to learn to ski, the West could be one of your best winter destinations.
