Multiple fatalities have been reported as the result of a mass shooting at Jacksonville Landing, a popular tourist spot in Florida, that took place on Sunday. Reports from U.S. News say the shooting happened at a restaurant in Jacksonville during a live streaming video game tournament.
Local media in the area is reporting that 4 individuals are deceased, while an additional 10 are injured, although the numbers have yet to be officially confirmed.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s office posted a warning on twitter saying, “Stay far away from the area. The area is not safe.” That tweet was immediately followed up with, “we can’t stress enough to stay away. Many blocks away.”
According to the sheriff’s office, one suspect has been declared dead at the scene and searches are still being conducted to find out if there are any other unknown suspects involved. Many individuals have been transported to local hospitals for their injuries.

The restaurant was hosting a live streaming Madden football video game tournament when the shots rang out. Numerous videos are floating around social media with the footage, so please, watch with discretion if you must.
The downtown area and surrounding streets have been blocked off, and SWAT, local authorities, ambulances and firetrucks are all reported to be on scene.
The sheriff’s office is highly cautioning those individuals that are hiding anywhere in the area to remain where they are and they will find them.
