Theme parks are back in full swing thanks to the eased CDC guidelines and the number of individuals who are already vaccinated. Though you still have to maintain social distancing, most of what you love about theme parks is back. As fall is fast approaching, fun Halloween-themed after-hours events are back from both Walt Disney World and Disneyland.
Last year, Disneyland and Disney World missed these festivities due to the pandemic. Disneyland closed by fall while Disney World skipped its annual Halloween-themed after-hours events.
What to Expect from The Halloween-Themed After-Hours Events?
Disney World announced last month that it is bringing “Disney After Hours Boo Bash” at its Magic Kingdom Park in Florida. Disney World invited its guests to dress up and even do trick-or-treat around the park.
The after-hours events will be held from August 10 to October 31 on selected nights from 9 pm until midnight. Another reason to look forward to the Disney After Hours Boo Bash is the shorter wait times at certain attractions. Some of these attractions include the Haunted Mansion. Plus, there are complimentary snacks and themed parades. Guests can expect the Jack Skellington of “The Nightmare Before Christmas”.
You can buy a ticket for the event separately. Plus, you will also have to expect a limited number of guests. The ticket starts at $129.
As for Disneyland in California, you can get to experience “Halloween Time”. Then, you also have a separate event, the Oogie Boogie Bash available in both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park. You can enjoy this event from September 9 until October 31 on some selected nights.
For those who love Marvel characters, Disney California Adventure offers the new Avengers Campus. Guests can enter Disney California Adventure from 3 pm but the actual fun begins at 6 pm. Limited tickets are up on sale on July 13.
Aside from the Halloween after-hours events, guests can also anticipate the two new nighttime events by October 1. “Disney Enchantment” is at Magic Kingdom and the “Harmonious” will be at EPCOT. These are going to debut just in time for Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary.
Now that masks are optional for those who are fully vaccinated, Disney expects more smiles from their guests.
