United’s Travel-Ready Center Tool Now Allows Easier Requirement Validation

Traveling has changed since the start of the pandemic. From vaccine and quarantine requirements, things can get confusing for travelers. United Airlines added new features in its Travel-Ready Center tool. The new features will allow travelers to validate entry requirements.

The Travel-Ready Center tool makes it easier for travelers to find health locator forms, hotel accommodation requirements, and QR codes from the local government. This time, the Travel-ready Center tool allows passengers to upload vaccine records and passports into the system. This tool is designed to cut the verification process in airports. This will make it easier for airport personnel to see all the information and to make it easier for travelers to board.

Expect More From The Travel-Ready Center Tool

Earlier this year, United already lets their passengers upload their COVID19 test information for verification. United is looking to add video chat capabilities that will allow passengers to make special requests. This will make it easier to avail of animal accommodation using the tool.

Domestic Travel is Back

United’s Travel Ready-Center Tool comes in handy now that travel demand is up. With this feature, it can help lessen the burden in airports.

Between unruly passengers and the recent spike in travelers, airlines need more hands. 37 million people are expected to travel during this Memorial Day weekend. And because of the travel rebound, airlines are recalling furloughed employees to meet the demand from travelers. Some airlines are also adding crafts to accommodate passengers.

On top of that, the CDC changed its mask policy. Those who completed their vaccine doses will no longer have to wear masks both indoors and outdoors. This could also encourage more people to travel.

International travel, on the other hand, is not yet in full swing. Though the US lightened travel advisories on the UK and Israel, the majority of countries worldwide are still on the Do Not Travel List. Plus, a UK-US travel corridor is still not yet final.
