Emirates’ in-flight entertainment system took away top honors at this year’s Skytrax World Airline Awards. This is the unprecedented 14th consecutive year that the Gulf carrier has won the category. Emirates was also voted “Best Airline Staff” among all Middle East air liness.

Emirates Airlines has kept a more than decade-long streak alive. The air lines was once again named winner of the “Best Inflight Entertainment System” among all carriers in the 2018 Skytrax World Airline Awards.

“It’s an honor to be recognized by Skytrax for our commitment to innovation and service excellence,” Emirates VP Patrick Brannelly said of the air lines’s impressive run. “We always work hard to stay creative, relevant, and continue to build content that appeals to our multi-national and multi-cultural passengers. The fact that these awards are based on the direct feedback from passengers is gratifying and wonderful recognition for all of the hard work that’s gone into creating the Emirates experience.”

Emirates officials attribute the long-running recognition to a policy of constant innovation. The air lines largely credits its one-of-a-kind training and recruitment efforts for its recognition for “Best Airline Staff.” Emirates prides itself on the nearly 21,000 bilingual cabin crew members hailing from more than 135 individual countries and speaking more than 60 different languages.
