A second American Airlines, Alaska Airlines and JetBlue, CNBC reported.

Sabre, which provides technology solutions airlines use for printing tickets and making reservations, confirmed the issue on Twitter, apologizing for the inconvenience.

We are aware that there is an issue impacting some of customers. Our global operations and technical teams are actively working to resolve this. We apologize for any inconvenience.

We understand how frustrating system outages are and we sincerely apologize for the disruption. No downtime is acceptable. We’re working expeditiously towards resuming normal operations.

A quick update: Systems are back online and customers are reporting normal or close to normal operations. We sincerely apologize for any resulting travel delays.

— Sabre (@Sabre_Corp) April 29, 2019

American Airlines spokesman Ross Feinstein said the glitch lasted for approximately 45 minutes and was resolved by 2 p.m. ET with no major impact to flights. Alaska Airlines confirmed that its systems were back up and running a few minutes later.

Yes, as of now our systems are back up and ready to go. There may be a few delays caused by this outage, so please double check your flight status here: https://t.co/Rp60EZaFkc -Sean

Monday’s outage comes just one month after Sabre experienced a system issue that impacted passengers on March 26, prompting apologies from both American and JetBlue.

As was the case last month, many passengers took to social media to vent their frustration, with one traveler calling the delays “unacceptable.”

Earlier, Sabre had a brief technical issue that impacted multiple carriers, including us. The issue has now been resolved.

Flight-tracking website FlightAware.com reported 2,870 flight delays within, into or out of the U.S. as of 4 p.m. ET Monday. Travelers are encouraged to check their flight status prior to arriving at the airport.
