Norwegian Air announced the addition of more nonstop routes from Boston and shifted its existing service to Florida and California to new airports.

Norwegian will add two more European nonstop routes out of Boston’s Logan International Airport next summer. In addition, the airline will move its existing London service from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport to Miami International Airport and from Oakland International Airport to San Francisco International Airport.

MORE Airlines & Airports

As part of an effort to strengthen the carrier’s operations in the United States, Norwegian offers the most nonstop routes from both California and Florida to Europe.

For travelers interested in the Boston service, flights to Rome will launch on March 31, 2019, and operate four times per week. Prices for the flights start at $299.90 in Economy and $779.90 in Premium one way, inclusive of taxes.

Norwegian will also offer flights between Boston and Madrid starting May 2, 2019, which will operate three times per week. Prices for tickets on the route start at $199.90 in Economy and $639.90 in Premium one way, inclusive of taxes.

“We are continuously reinforcing Norwegian’s commitment to the U.S. as this is one of our most important markets,” Norwegian CEO Bjorn Kjos said in a statement. “Transatlantic low fares resonate very well with both American leisure and business travelers, especially when matched with our award-winning in-flight experience. Our new routes and increased frequencies will make us even more competitive while offering Americans more options and more ways to save and enjoy travel.”

The airline also announced it will move two of its existing London nonstop routes starting March 31, 2019, as well as increase frequencies on some of its Madrid, Paris and Rome services from other U.S. gateways for the summer 2019 schedule.
