According to The Daily Mail, a fellow passenger on the plane named Vito Scotella revealed the Italian passenger realized he was not landing in Cagliari, Sardinia, as intended, but instead was about to touch down in Bari, Italy, as the plane prepared for landing.
The man began to yell at flight attendants, asking them how they let him board a plane to a different city. He blamed the airline and its employees working at Pisa International Airport for sending him hundreds of miles from his intended destination.

“And how did you manage to get me through ticket checks?” the man asked in the video. “I have to meet a friend who is sick in Cagliari. I spent 400 euros. I have no money left.”
Scotella said he believes the man got on the wrong plane after passing through the gate, as passengers at the Pisa airport have to walk across the tarmac to board the aircraft.
“We have asked the operator in charge of ground assistance services for Ryanair planes and passengers at the Pisa airport to shed light on this case and make sure it does not happen again,” a Ryanair spokesperson said in a statement.
