United Airlines announced Monday it was adding four new domestic United Club locations in 2019 to its network of more than 50 other sites around the world.
The first location opening is a brand-new, 5,000-square-foot United Club at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport near Gate C1. The clubs were created to serve the needs of customers traveling to and from each destination and feature complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, wellness rooms and specially curated local food and beverage offerings.

In addition to the opening of a United Club in Fort Lauderdale, the carrier is expanding its network by introducing new locations in popular destinations. During the summer, United plans to open a new club in New Orleans in conjunction with the opening of the new terminal at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport.
“United Clubs are the perfect spot for our customers to relax and recharge and we are excited to open the first of four new United Clubs this year,” United chief customer officer Toby Enqvist said in a statement. “Our multimillion-dollar investment in the United Clubs is one of many ways we are working to improve every aspect of our customers’ experience.”
The airline will also open a new United Club location in New York City’s La Guardia Airport to coincide with the relocation of its operations to the airport’s Terminal B. Additionally, United will introduce its first-ever United Club location in Raleigh-Durham International Airport.
United Club members enjoy access to more than 50 United Club locations and participating Star Alliance partner lounges around the world.
