After undergoing a dramatic transformation, the Celebrity Millennium is ready to revolutionize modern travel.
The bow-to-stern transformation of the Celebrity Cruises ship began on January 2 and concluded over 35 days of intense work on the vessel by engineers, architects, artisans, designers, contractors, shipyard employees and the entire Celebrity team.
Some of the new features added to the Celebrity Millennium include redesigned staterooms and suites; the addition of The Retreat Sundeck; reimagined restaurants, bars, and lounges; an upgraded spa and casino; and designer boutiques.

For cruise passengers, the staterooms and suites received major enhancements, such as refreshed suite design and finishes by Hoppen; the Retreat Sundeck for Suite Class guests; the 24/7 Retreat Lounge for Suite Class guests; a new stateroom design in partnership with HBA; and more.

The ship will feature 30 new staterooms, with 13 new AquaClass Staterooms, seven new Ocean View Staterooms and 10 new Inside Staterooms being added.

I want to share my deepest gratitude with the teams who have worked so hard to make this happen, and I can’t wait for our guests to experience this revolution in travel for themselves.”
As for the restaurants and lounges on the Celebrity Cruises vessel, the cruise line reimagined many of the establishments, including the Oceanview Cafe, the Main Restaurant, the Sunset Bar and the Rendezvous Lounge.
Guests should also expect to find other improvements, such as advanced pervasive Xcelerate Wi-Fi, new boutiques, a wellness-focused spa, a new salon, a Persian Garden thermal suite and an enhanced Art Gallery and Photo Gallery.
The transformation of the Celebrity Millennium is part of THE CELEBRITY REVOLUTION, which includes more than $500 million in upgrades during the cruise line’s most significant fleet-wide modernization ever.
In total, seven more Celebrity Cruises ships to be modernized by 2023.
