Sapphire Princess has emerged from a two-week dry dock in Singapore with a number of enhancements. They include new ship livery and new Club Class Mini-Suites. The premium-level stateroom category features Club Class Dining perks and other amenities.
Staterooms have been outfitted with the award-winning Princess Luxury Beds, developed in collaboration with design and sleep experts.
A reimagined youth center, Camp Discovery, will cater to ages 3-17 as part of the line’s Discovery at SEA program. And, a new entertainment LED Wall will be used in production shows and other programming.
Onboard boutiques and the Lotus Spa & Fitness Center have also been upgraded.
Sapphire Princess has finished a season of Asia cruises. She departs today on a 28-day voyage from Singapore to London. She’ll begin cruising in the Mediterranean and Northern Europe, where calls will include Monte Carlo, Lisbon, Brussels, St. Petersburg and the Norwegian Fjords during Summer Solstice.
“Sapphire Princess is the latest ship to debut many of the signature offerings we know our guests value, enjoy and look forward to experiencing when they travel the world with Princess,” said Jan Swartz, Princess Cruises president. “This investment continues our $450 million ‘Come Back New Promise,’ a multi-year ship renovation campaign,” added Swartz.
