Silversea Cruises Opens Sales on Global Itineraries

Luxury operator Silversea Cruises opened general sales on 54 itineraries for the winter 2020/2021 season, including 20 calls at new ports for the deluxe line and cruises in the Caribbean, Asia, Australia & New Zealand, and South America.

The voyages aboard Silversea’s Silver Muse, Silver Whisper, Silver Shadow, Silver Spirit and Silver Moon ships, ranging from 294 to 596 passengers, will be combined with amenities including complimentary round-trip economy class flights, business class upgrades starting from $199 per leg, and transfers on nearly all voyages included in the new itineraries.

“Once again, we have pushed boundaries to unlock unique travel experiences for our guests, in the world’s most amazing destinations,” said Barbara Muckermann, Silversea’s chief marketing officer.

The new itineraries include 26 Caribbean voyages aboard 294-passenger Silver Shadow, 382-passenger Silver Whisper and 40,700-ton Silver Moon will enable guests to visit 46 destinations in the region throughout the winter season.

The port calls will include journeys into the rainforests of St. Lucia, opportunities to explore the boutiques of St. Barth, and exploration of the Spanish-tiled courtyards of San Juan, plus visits to intimate, lesser-visited Caribbean ports including Jost Van Dyke, Bequia, and Mayreau.

Guests will also have the opportunity to experience Cuba’s spectacular landscapes. Most of the Caribbean voyages will depart from and or end in Fort Lauderdale.

Asian itineraries aboard 596-passenger Silver Muse and 540-passenger Silver Spirit will include 58 destinations in 18 countries, with each ship completing seven voyages between September 2020 and May 2021.

The itineraries will feature calls in major ports including Mumbai, Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Tokyo, and the voyages will include overnights calls in various Vietnam destinations, plus roundtrip voyages from Tokyo during cherry blossom season.

Far East itineraries will include a 14-day circumnavigation of Honshu, Japan departing on April 5, 2021, aboard Silversea’s flagship Silver Muse will also visit Shimizu; Kobe (an overnight call) and Hiroshima before reaching Yeosu in South Korea. Subsequently, travelers will explore Kanazawa, Niigata; Akita, Aomori, and Hakodate, ahead of arriving in Tokyo on April 19, 2021.

Finally, the new voyages will include 49 destinations in eight countries in and around Australia and New Zealand, with sailings between October 2020 and March 2021. Travelers can combine three voyages, Sydney to Fremantle (Perth), Fremantle (Perth) to Bali, and Bali to Sydney, to complete a 50-day circumnavigation of Australia aboard Silver Muse.

Additionally, destinations in Australia and New Zealand, including several Pacific Islands, will be featured on several Sydney-to-Auckland voyages between December 2020 and February 2021.
