Ask almost any kid, and they’ll tell you the very best vacation experience is one where they get their own hotel room, sans parents. It doesn’t happen often, but when it does, it’s the best thing. Ever.
Novotel is bringing a slice of that joy to family travelers this summer with a new offer that gives parents a 50 percent discount on a second room, when they’re traveling with kids 16 and under. That’s right, buy one room, get the second at half off.
This offer is valid for up to two children under 16 years old and can be redeemed at select Accor-branded properties including Sofitel, MGallery, Pullman, Mercure, Novotel and Suite Novotel hotels.
MORE Hotel & Resort
Speaking of family fun, guests planning a Canada getaway can stay in a themed room inspired by Hotel Transylvania 3 at select Novotel properties in Toronto and Montreal (Novotel Toronto North York, Novotel Toronto Vaughan and Novotel Montreal Centre.)
Kids will receive a welcome gift upon check-in before heading up to their decorated room, which features linens, throw blankets, bathrobes, cushions, mugs and tumblers, a sleep mask and even novelty slippers that are based upon Drac, Mavis and the entire monster family.
If spreading out over two rooms isn’t to your liking, Novotel also features family rooms designed for two adults and two children, which include a study area for drawing, TV channels for children and a sofa bed. Kids also enjoy free breakfast (for up to two children.)
The hotel also comes equipped with an indoor play area and video game consoles. Swimming pools are also available at select properties.
On Sundays, based upon capacity, there’s even the possibility of a 5 p.m. late checkout, so sleep in, take in the sights and extend your stay by a few more hours.
Upon booking the family offer, guests must contact the participating hotel directly to request a stay in one of the themed rooms, as only a limited number are available.
The special family offer is available at Novotel Hotels, Suites & Resorts in more than 55 countries around the world, including France, Italy, China, Germany and Brazil.
