California is an incredible place and a huge state with a lot to offer visitors and residents alike. The outdoor scene in California is amazing and there is natural beauty just about everywhere. Whether you are visiting or live in California it’s important that you get to enjoy all the natural beauty that California has to offer from the redwoods to the excellent beaches.

Visit the Redwoods

One of the best natural beauties the state has to offer is the magnificent beauty of the Redwoods. These ancient trees tower over the northern part of the state and are something you don’t want to miss. If you are planning a trip to the Redwoods National park, it is a good idea to book a place to camp or lodge well in advance, especially in the busy summer months. You can also check out a smaller version of the Redwoods near San Francisco in the Muir woods. Either option is a great way to spend your time and a beautiful way to look at the state.

Take a Road Trip on the Coast

The California coastline is long, but if you’re up for a road trip you can drive down the entire length of it. The Pacific Coast Highway takes 16 hours to completely drive up and down. Taking this trip is a great way to see the varied beauty of the coastline. You can visit tons of beaches with different views and coasts that will give you a full California experience over the course of an amazing drive. Book hotels along the way so you can really spend time at the different beaches and enjoy yourself fully.

Visit Hot Springs

There are many different hot springs across southern California, and it is worth a trip just to check them all out. Hot springs are naturally heated so they can be a great alternative to help you get in the water without the chill of the ocean. It’s fun to see how each spring differs and to camp out near the springs so you can spend a lot of time in the area. Some are far enough out from civilization that camping is required!

Visiting California can be different every single time you make the trip. It’s important to seek out the natural beauty of the landscape so you can truly appreciate what this great state has to offer. Take time to plan your next California vacation with these natural beauties in mind!
