The carrier is also adding new service from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport to Durango International Airport in Mexico on June 6. When the services are launched, American will become the only U.S. airline to serve Santiago and Durango.

“We have had a robust schedule of flights between the U.S. and the Mexico, Caribbean and Latin America region for years from our DFW and MIA hubs,” American vice president Vasu Raja said in a statement. “As we work to deliver the best network, these new routes reinforce our commitment to the region and provide new options for customers.”

American also announced new service to existing international destinations from Dallas, Miami, Charlotte Douglas International, and LaGuardia to Aruba, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Honduras, and Mexico.

The airline is also expanding its presence at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport with the launch of eight domestic routes, including flights to Georgia, Florida, Arizona, California and more.
