Good news for some frequent fliers: British Airways is offering double points on your next 10 flights between the United States and Europe through the end of the year.
However, as View From the Wing points out, there are a few caveats for this deal:
Some FlyerTalkers have run into another problem: they can’t seem to register at all. In this thread, Porky Speedpig says he’s “Tried twice to register, each time the error ‘your attempt has been unsuccessful, you are not eligible for this offer’ pops up. Anyone else get this?”
Several FlyerTalkers chimed in to say that they also received the same message from British Airways prompting HFHFFlyer to comment, “BA really don’t help themselves, do they? Sending out an email to one of their most loyal customers, advertising an offer and then saying you can’t have it.”
Were you able to register for this promotion? Chime in on this FlyerTalk thread to share your experience.
