Virgin Australia Officially Bankrupt; Richard Branson Weighs In

Late Monday evening, Virgin Australia officially entered bankruptcy, also known as “voluntary administration,” in Australia. It was discussed earlier in the day that this may occur.

Shortly thereafter Sir Richard Branson, founder of the Virgin group, issued the following video message to employees.

Virgin owns a 10% stake in Virgin Australia.
