Delta Adds Popular Children’s App to Onboard Entertainment Experience

Delta Air Lines is looking to make traveling with children more educational by introducing the popular learn-to-read app HOMER to the carrier’s onboard entertainment experience.

Starting this month, Delta travelers with children will be able to access a suite of award-winning learning content from HOMER as part of the Delta Studio in celebration of National Reading Month.

With the ability to enjoy HOMER’s fun and engaging stories and songs, children of all reading levels will be able to turn flying time into learning time. The content will be available through the “Sky Kids” portal on airlines/delta-skymiles-named-best-rewards-program.html” target=”_self” rel=”nofollow noopener noreferrer”>Delta Studio and updated every other month.

The initial content added to the app will cover a variety of topics for children 2-8 years old, including the Meet the Letters series and a Spanish collection dubbed HOMER en Espanol.

The addition of HOMER to Delta Studio is part of the airline’s continued effort to bring new and innovative offerings to customers, which already features up to 300 movies, 550 television shows, 12 channels of live satellite TV on select flights and more than 2,500 songs.

Delta Studio is available on more than 600 aircraft via seatback screens and can be streamed by customers via their personal devices on all of Delta’s mainline fleet and most regional aircraft.
