While flying with easyJet from Zante to the United Kingdom, passenger Adrian Bell was alarmed to discover that the packaging of the cheese toastie he’d ordered as an in-flight meal was dated June 16, 2007.
A flight attendant reportedly joked “We should charge you more, it’s an antique,” according to Bell.
Though the carrier claims that the toastie was not expired, but rather mislabeled with 2007 instead of 2017, Bell still reportedly ate the sandwich, though he claims it was overcooked.
