Heathrow Airport brought some Star Wars humor to travelers on “May the 4th,” an unofficial Star Wars holiday for fans because it plays off the famous line, “May the force be with you.”
This morning, travelers at Heathrow noticed the airport’s departure sign was a little off…
It listed destinations like Endor, Jakku and the Death Star, all famous places in the Star Wars films. There were funny Star Wars puns associated with the destinations, such as with Kamino, it read “Delayed a long, long time in a galaxy far, far away.”

“Allow extra time for boarding… possibly a trap,” was written under the Death Star section.
For Kashyyyk, the airport wrote, “Extra security at the gate. All crossbows must be checked in.”
The sign even created “airline codes” that were related to famous characters in the series. C3PO, WOOK1E, LE1A and HAN5010 were all listed.
According to one Twitter user, Heathrow also played Star Wars music.
While travelers going through Heathrow aren’t traveling to a galaxy far, far away, at least the airport has managed to bring them some good humor on their journeys.
