When visitors first arrive at the suite, which is located in Terminal 4, they’re greeted by a brand ambassador who helps decide which game is best suited for them. Play times range anywhere from 10 minutes to one hour, and the experience can be paid for with just the swipe of your credit card.

The facility also includes areas where visitors can store their personal belongings while partaking in the fun, ensuring that their belongings remain safe. Well, as safe as you can expect your items to be in an airport anyway.

Lynn Rosenthal of Periscape VR told Lonely Planet Travel News, “Airports can often be stressful and boring. Periscape VR changes the traveler’s experience to a fun and joyful one. We hope to provide this to passengers around the world. People passing through from everywhere put on a VR headset and instantly begin to smile. They describe their experiences as euphoric, blissful and the most fun they have ever had in an airport. There is a saying that you never forget your first time in VR. I feel so much joy when I look around Periscape and see so many happy people.”

A few gaming options include:

—Beat Saber—a VR game which in a sense resembles the widely popular Guitar Hero combined with the mobile game Fruit Ninja. The goal is to slash the beats with two lightsabers as they move towards you, while tunes play that fit perfectly with your movements.

—The Blu— guests are transported to an underwater world which brings them face to face with some of the most astonishing species on the planet.

—Longbow—an archery game that allows players to shoot different targets.
