Dutch airline KLM is doing away with an iconic element of its uniform for captains and first officers with the airline – that jaunty hat.
According to a spokesperson, “Pilots have worn caps since the earliest days of KLM’s existence. Over the years, the style and look of the cap has changed to suit the fashion of the day.”
