On Sunday, a rat that snuck aboard an Air India flight scheduled to depart from Delhi to San Francisco delayed the flight and its over 200 passengers for more than nine hours. According to Air India, the rat was discovered as the aircraft was taxiing.
Additionally, the flight crew’s permitted duty hours expired throughout the fumigation process, and the carrier was forced to deploy a new crew to resume the flight.
