Sri Lankan Prez Goes Nuts Over Airplane Snack

After a recent Sri Lankan Airlines flight, Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena went on the warpath about the in-flight fare offered by the carrier: the cashews.

“When I returned from Nepal, they served some cashew nuts on the plane [that], let alone humans, even dogs can’t eat, who approves these things?” Sirisena announced angrily to a group of farmers.

“Who approved the cashew? Who is responsible for this?”

It has not yet been made clear what, specifically, was objectionable about the cashews.
