Learn What’s New With Heart MRI Technology

Dr. Chiara Bucciarelli-Ducci, a pre-eminent expert inin the field of cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR),shares her insights, experience and new scientific findings pointing to the use of Heart MRIs as an effective and less-invasive diagnostic and monitoring tool for patients with heart health concerns. A recent study published in the New England Journal of Medicine confirms the benefits of Heart MRI.

Chiara (kee-ara) Bucciarelli-Ducci MD, PhD, FESC, FRCP, is the Chief Executive Officer of the Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (SMCR).  She is an Associate Professor (Senior Lecturer) in Cardiology/Non-Invasive Imaging at the Bristol Heart Institute, University of Bristol, Bristol, UK, and Co-Director of the Clinical Research and Imaging Centre Bristol. A graduate of the Medical School in Rome, Italy, Dr. Bucciarelli-Ducci is a certified cardiologist both in Italy and in the UK and is widely recognized as a leader, a celebrated speaker, and distinguished author in the field of cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR).
