Approximately 200 people were left stranded at an apparently cockroach-filled Fuerteventura Airport (FUE) after their Jet2 flight was canceled. Jet2 staff was allegedly unresponsive and unhelpful in answering passenger concerns, and passengers were forced to spend the night in an arrivals lounge filled with cockroaches.
“No one knows what is going on, there are cockroaches crawling on the floor and we’ve had to break into the cafe to get milk for our babies. It’s been 12 hours now with no food or sleep and there’s no assistance,” said one passenger.
