Allegiant Air Delay Leads to Angry Mob

Airport officials at Des Moines International Airport (DSM) confirmed that on Friday of last week, an Allegiant Air flight that was initially set to depart in the morning but was delayed until 2:30 a.m. on Saturday was the cause of an irate passenger mob.

“We do understand that people were frustrated by that, and maybe the communication wasn’t as good as it could have been while we thought it could get resolved quickly,” said Hilarie Grey, Allegiant Air’s director of corporate communications.
