In an e-mail sent out to MileagePlus members earlier today, United officially announced the launch of United® Premium Plus, the airline’s version of Delta’s Premium Economy seats.

This short release is all the information that we have so far, but it looks like this will be a true premium economy class product that will include:
And while we do not know any details about the seats so far, it seems fair to assume that they will be similar to the recliners on Delta and American Airlines which are between 18 and 19 inches wide with around 38 inches of pitch.
And although there is no official release date, we’re guessing that the new Premium Plus Economy class will come on the heels of the end of United’s first class service on long-haul routes on May 1st 2018.
