On Monday, a member of Singapore Airlines’ cabin crew was arrested for allegedly smuggling gold while working for the carrier, and it is believed that more crew members were involved in the smuggling. The flight attendant was popped by authorities after they allegedly uncovered approximately 1,048 grams of gold after he arrived on a flight from Singapore.
“SIA will provide full co-operation to the investigating authorities. We are unable to provide details of the crew member concerned due to confidential reasons,” said a spokesperson for Singapore Airlines.
