Southwest Apologizes After Canceling 220 Flights at Midway

Southwest Airlines has released an apology after being forced to cancel 220 flights at Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW) due to what it claimed was a shortage of de-icer caused by nine consecutive snow days. The carrier claims to have had its de-icer supply replenished, and has resumed its flight schedules with only a few cancellations.
