Hawaiian Airlines has been using text messages to communicate with its customers, which, according to an executive at tech company LivePerson Inc., allows employees to be twice as productive compared to speaking on the phone. LivePerson, Inc., provides the carrier with communications technology that allows for a more private, traditional customer service experience that doesn’t come with immediate weight of pressure often found with social media.
