On Tuesday, 80-year-old flyer Maria Larios was accidentally flown to Denver instead of her intended destination of Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) after being allowed to board the wrong flight.
“How is it possible that a woman got on a plane that she did not have a boarding pass for and is now in another state?” Paradis said.
Larios’ family claims to have made special accommodations for Larios, who is partially blind and does not speak English, that were not honored.
