Video footage taken on July 8 by South African photographer Zanele Muholi appears to show a woman taking a fall down a flight of stairs during an altercation with her Airbnb host, a 47-year-old man who has since been arrested as a result of the incident. The victim, artist Steve Nkumbi, claims to have received a concussion due to the fall down the stairs.
A spokesperson for Airbnb claims that the homesharing company is assisting police in their investigation of the incident.
