WestJet Introduces New Econo Fare

A week after Air Canada’s introduction of Economy Basic fare, WestJet has matched the move with its new Econo fare, which is the lowest that the carrier currently offers.

“As WestJet transitions to a global airline, we want our guests to have more choices when it comes to their travel experience. That’s why today, we launched our basic economy fare called Econo (Lowest),” said a spokesperson for WestJet.
