Delta SkyClub DCA Debuts New Look

Delta’s newly renovated Sky Club at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) has opened for business.

The upgraded space now has an additional 1,800 square feet and features fresh, elevated dining options from Top Chef finalist Marjorie Meek-Bradley, the airline said in a statement.

“We are looking forward to sharing the stunning Delta Sky Club at DCA with Washingtonians. From the cherry-blossom inspired chandelier to the sophisticated finishes, we’ve thoughtfully designed every detail of this Club for our guests,” Claude Roussel, managing director of Delta Sky Club, said in a statement. “The investments Delta is making in Delta Sky Clubs reflect our commitment to take the guest experience to the next level.”

The 9,000 square foot Washington D.C. Sky Club includes many of the features for which Delta’s clubs have become known, along with a few unique touches inspired by its location in the nation’s capital.

Highlights of the new Sky Club include:

—Striking lighting features, modern finishes and leather furnishings

—An open seating plan that maximizes views of the runway and the Potomac River

—A menu crafted by Meek-Bradley, which will be rotated seasonally

—Full-service bar, now with additional seating, that features seasonal cocktails, an exclusive all-American whiskey menu with 15 choices and wine selected by Delta’s Master Sommelier Andrea Robinson

—Beltway-themed artwork from up-and-coming artists from across the country, as a part of THE GALLERY program

—Comfortable seating, Wi-Fi and easily accessible power outlets at nearly every seat

“I am very excited to partner with Delta at the Delta Sky Club at DCA. I look forward to bringing my passion for local, seasonal ingredients to travelers, whether they are heading out of town or just passing through our awesome city,” said Meek-Bradley, chef and partner at Smoked and Stacked, and executive chef at St. Anselm.

Over the past two years, Delta has focused on enhancing the customer experience at Delta Sky Clubs across its network. That effort has included announcing a new Delta Sky Club coming to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in 2019 and to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport in late 2018.

The airline also recently debuted renovated Sky Clubs at Newark Liberty International Airport and at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.
