Five people were injured Friday after an airlines/air-canada.html” target=”_self” rel=”nofollow noopener noreferrer”>Air Canada plane collided with a fuel truck at a Toronto airport.
According to CTVNews.ca, Air Canada Flight 8615 operated by Jazz Aviation had just landed at Toronto Pearson International Airport Friday morning at around 1:30 a.m. local time when it was cleared to taxi to the gate.

A spokeswoman for the Greater Toronto Airports Authority said the plane was moving toward the gate when it struck the fuel truck on the tarmac. The aircraft came to a full stop and the pilot called for the passengers to be deplaned.
Once the passengers and crew members were out of the aircraft, they were escorted into the terminal building. Emergency personnel arrived at the scene and transported three crew members and two passengers to a local hospital for further evaluation.
Four of the people impacted by the accident have already been released.
