Flight Attendant Spills Drinks on American Airlines CEO

Spilling a tray of drinks can be a nightmare for flight attendants, but one American Airlines crew member had it worse than anyone else when she accidentally dropped a tray of filled cups on the CEO of the carrier.

According to NBCNews.com, American flight attendant Maddie Peters was working a flight between Phoenix and Dallas when she brought more than half a dozen pre-departure drinks to the first-class cabin.

Peters was serving the drinks when another passenger accidentally bumped into her, spilling the cups on her uniform and a man sitting next to her. When Peters spoke to the passenger, she realized it was American CEO Doug Parker.

Despite the natural fears associated with spilling drinks on your boss, Parker laughed off the accident and even spoke to the attendants after they finished serving the other first-class passengers.

“Luckily he was super cool, and a good sport about it,” Peters said on Instagram. “He later came back and we chatted for a little, and joked about it the rest of the flight. When he was getting off the plane, he told me he’d never forget me…. guess that’s a good thing, right?”
