How to Enjoy Thanksgiving Dinner at the Airport

Just because you’re stuck at the airport this Thanksgiving doesn’t mean you have to go hungry or miss out on the most anticipated meal of the year.

Whether you’re in the midst of a long layover, your flight’s delayed or you simply can’t wait to reach your destination to dig into grandma’s cooking, you’re certain to give thanks for these exceptional airport restaurant offerings.

Staying in the Southeast, North Carolina‘s Charlotte Douglas International Airport boasts mouthwatering offerings at both 1897 Market and Brookwood Farms BBQ. The former is offering a special Thanksgiving market hot brown meal of smoked Joyce Farms Heritage Black Turkey, pan-fried pumpernickel, roasted carrots, cranberry jam and pickled ramp relish.

Meanwhile, the nearby 8oz Burger Bar is serving up the “Big Bird,” which features Shelton Farms ground turkey, avocado, roasted tomato, Swiss cheese and sprouts.
