New must-watch hit entertainment on Delta arrives just in time for holidays

New Delta Studio collections and premium content coming in November deliver an elevated holiday travel experience.

  • Exclusive Peloton collection brings well-being focused content on Delta, plus HBO Max and more

Delta is giving customers even more ways to enjoy their next flight with new in-flight entertainment collections and content sure to elevate the travel experience during the holidays.

“A fresh selection of entertainment means customers can catch the latest box-office hits, rediscover an old favorite or stream their favorite tunes when they fly on Delta this holiday season,” said Katie Stuart, Product Manager – Delta Studio.

In recent years, Delta has continued to double down on its industry leading in-flight entertainment experience – only the airline’s Boeing 717 fleet are not equipped with seatback screens – ensuring new content introduced this month is available on nearly all routes.

HIT MOVIES, SHOWS, AND NEW PREMIUM PARTNER COLLECTIONS

Customers traveling in November and December will find 100+ films with 56 new releases, and 500+ TV episodes from top Hollywood studios on Delta. Highly anticipated new releases featured include “Stillwater,” “Free Guy” and “No Sudden Move.”

Delta also has partnered with leading interactive fitness platform Peloton to offer a new “Classes in the Clouds” collection of wellbeing-focused content exclusively for Delta customers. Decompress at your seat with guided meditations and stretches led by Peloton Instructors – a perfect way to prepare for that getaway or family reunion this holiday season. The collection marks the first time Peloton content will be available on a non-Peloton platform. Read more about Peloton’s efforts to keep fitness and wellbeing accessible.

For the first time, HBO Max selections are coming exclusively to Delta in November as well, including a new feature collection with HBO Max favorites “Friends: The Reunion,” “Love Life,” “Raised by Wolves” and more.

New content is hand-selected by teams at Delta after reviewing historical performance data to better understand the content customers want more of. Content and collections on Delta Studio are refreshed monthly.

MORE WAYS TO STAY CONNECTED

More than 200 aircraft are now equipped with fast-streaming Viasat Wi-Fi, with the airline on track to complete more than 300 installations by year end. Customers on these aircraft can stream and browse their favorite sites at fast speeds for a simple, flat rate of $5 per device no matter the length of the flight. Free messaging is also available, ensuring customers can stay connected to friends and family on the ground. Delta plans to equip nearly all its domestic mainline fleet with enhanced connectivity by the end of 2022.

Aircraft that have been equipped with fast-streaming Wi-Fi are marked with a decal visible at the boarding door.

Sit back and relax with new entertainment, fast-streaming Wi-Fi on more flights, and a seasonal beverage and refreshed menu – just some of the things to look forward to on your next trip this holiday season.
