“Philadelphia is a Top 10 destination for Bostonians, and we are pleased to offer customers this new service to Delta‘s growing portfolio of nonstop flights at Logan International Airport,” Joe Esposito, vice president, Network Planning – Americas, said in a statement. “This schedule provides convenient trip options and amenities, with departures in popular morning and evening time channels and First Class seating on every flight.”

The service will be flown four times daily on CRJ-900 aircraft operated by Delta Connection carrier Endeavor Air.

Flights will depart Logan each day for Philadelphia at 6:45 a.m., 11:05 a.m., 1:50 p.m. and 6:35 p.m. From Philadelphia to Boston the daily departures will be 9 a.m., 1:25 p.m., 4:20 p.m. and 8:45 p.m.

With the addition of Philadelphia to the list, Delta now flies non-stop to 51 destinations from Boston. The airline also recently announced the addition of non-stop service to Las Vegas from the city, which will also begin October 1.

Also in October, Delta will add a third daily nonstop to Tampa International Airport.

Delta has been rolling out a variety of enhancements tied to its Boston service in recent months. The airline recently added new seasonal weekend service to New Orleans, Savannah and Charleston and increased Charleston service to daily flights beginning this summer.

The airline is also launching new Saturday service from Boston to Aruba in June. It will be Delta’s sixth destination in the Caribbean from Boston.

Flights to top business markets will also be added this summer, including Nashville, Atlanta, Seattle, Kansas City, Jacksonville, and Pittsburgh.

Delta’s continued investment in Boston will reach 112 peak day departures by this summer, an increase of 19 departures compared with summer 2017 and 29 departures over summer 2016. Delta and its partners will serve 51 total destinations from Boston, including 17 international destinations and the largest trans-Atlantic network.
