NYSE bell ringing celebrates Delta resilience and Team USA partnership

To commemorate the perseverance of the Delta people through the pandemic, seven Delta Air Lines employees joined CEO Ed Bastian and CFO Dan Janki for the ringing of the New York Stock Exchange closing bell on Oct. 19.

To commemorate the perseverance of the Delta people through the pandemic, seven Delta Air Lines employees joined CEO Ed Bastian and CFO Dan Janki for the ringing of the closing bell on Oct. 19. Delta’s last appearance at the New York Stock Exchange was before the pandemic on Oct. 29, 2019.

“It’s important to announce we are back,” Bastian said. “And, we are back.”

Two Team USA athletes also joined Delta to celebrate the partnership between Delta and Team USA ahead of the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in Beijing next year.
