Special Delta Service Between Shanghai and Las Vegas to Fly in January

Delta will offer two flights between Shanghai and Las Vegas this January surrounding the Consumer Electronics Show, opening up additional choice for customers in China and the U.S. attending the annual global event.

The flights will operate as through flights, sharing the same flight numbers as Delta’s existing daily Atlanta-Shanghai service.

The Delta onboard experience will be on Boeing 777-200LR aircraft featuring 37 lie-flat seats with direct aisle access in Delta One, 36 seats in Delta Comfort+ and 218 seats in the main cabin featuring a nine-abreast seating layout. Every seat has personal in-flight entertainment on demand. The aircraft is also equipped with satellite-based Wi-Fi and power ports at every seat.

This special service, subject to final government approval, is scheduled as follows:

DL186 January 7

—Depart Shanghai at 12:05 a.m. — Arrive Las Vegas at 7:45 a.m.

—Depart Las Vegas at 9:45 a.m. — Arrive Atlanta at 4:30 p.m.

DL185 January 12

—Depart Atlanta at 9:15 a.m. — Arrive Las Vegas at 10:45 a.m.

—Depart Las Vegas at 12:45 p.m. — Arrive Shanghai at 7:15 p.m. (next day)

In addition to Shanghai, Delta will also be operating Las Vegas to Seoul-Incheon for the second consecutive year and Tokyo-Narita for the seventh consecutive year, offering nonstop links from top three Asia markets to the world’s largest technology event.

Customers will also continue to benefit from Joint Venture partner Korean Air’s Las Vegas to Seoul-Incheon year-round service, with onward connections to over 80 Asia destinations from the ICN hub.
