According to WSVN.com, officials from Spirit announced crews had found the cause of the issue and were working to fix it, with the airline’s official Twitter account saying the systems were back up and running.

While Spirit claimed the outage only lasted a short time, customers online reported there were still delays associated with the service interruption at airports such as Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, Chicago O’Hare International Airport and more.

Passengers are encouraged to check with Spirit before arriving at the airport to ensure their flights haven’t been delayed due to the system outage.

Spirit is asking customers impacted by the technical issues to call the reservations line at 801-401-2222.
