The carrier is the first to introduce an onboard bar and a social space known as The Loft, which will be the largest meeting area in the airline’s fleet. Virgin Atlantic’s Loft builds on the Clubhouse experience, offering a wide range of cocktails and meal options.

“The introduction of our A350 represents a true evolution of our customer experience,” Virgin Atlantic Executive Vice President Mark Anderson said in a statement. “We believe flying should be exciting, whether it’s your first or 100th flight with us and that’s why we’ve elevated our offering to provide our customers with something totally unique.”

“The A350 forms a significant part of our fleet transformation strategy and by 2022, we’ll have our youngest, cleanest, greenest fleet in the sky as the aircraft transforms our customer experience, reduces our environmental impact and improves our route economics,” Anderson continued.

In the Upper Class cabin, the Airbus planes will also feature Bluetooth headphones that connect to 32” television screens, all window seats, privacy screens, suites boasting fully flat beds, 18.5-inch displays at every seat and more.

The entire aircraft will also have access to high-speed Wi-Fi as well as the unique and personalized service of Virgin Atlantic’s cabin crew.
