Avis Adds Car Rental Locations at Universal Orlando Hotels

Avis Car Rental announced Wednesday the grand opening of five facilities located at Universal Studios Orlando’s Loews Hotels & Resorts properties.

Avis is already the official car rental partner of Universal Parks & Resorts, and the new facilities will offer theme park visitors convenient access to the company’s wide-range of vehicles and world-class service.

The new car rental locations can be found at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, Loews Royal Pacific Resort, the Hard Rock Hotel Orlando, Loews Sapphire Falls Resort and Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort.

In addition, Avis will open another location at Universal’s Aventura Hotel this summer.

“Universal’s theme parks in Orlando and Hollywood are popular attractions in the United States visited by travelers the world over,” Avis senior vice president Stephen Wright said in a statement. “Establishing an onsite presence at Universal/Loews properties allows us to expand our off-airport presence to serve customers’ mobility needs where and when they need them. Now, guests will have a more convenient way to access an Avis vehicle so that they can allocate their time — and money saved — to more meaningful pursuits.”

By opening the new on-site hotel rental locations, Avis is building on its multi-year marketing partnership with Universal Orlando, which already includes hotel guests receiving discounted rates and special offers for rentals.

Avis vehicles are available through Universal’s online booking tool, making it easier than ever to add a rental car when booking a theme park vacation package.
