Enterprise Announces Plans to Hire 8500 College Graduates

Enterprise Rent-A-Car announced Thursday the company plans to hire 8,500 college graduates into its Enterprise Management Training program and 2,000 interns into the Management Internship program in 2018.

When the new employees arrive at the more than 5,800 Enterprise locations throughout the United States, the dress code will be dramatically different. This time, trainees and interns will not be required to wear a tie.

“This more flexible dress code is in line with our evolving work environment and represents our commitment to our employees, whose feedback prompted this change,” Enterprise Holdings vice president Shelley Roither said in a statement. “The new dress code will enable our teams to take care of their customers while still maintaining a professional image.”

To operate the 9,900 neighborhood and airport locations in more than 90 countries, Enterprise hires thousands of college-educated, career-oriented men and women into its management training program each year.

In 2018, CollegeGrad.com ranked Enterprise the No. 1 Entry-Level Employer, marking the 11th time Enterprise has earned that distinction. Enterprise also thrives on a strong promote-from-within philosophy that has driven the company’s management training program.
