Trenitalia and Railbookers Announce Strategic Partnership

Railbookers, a Yankee Leisure Group (YLG) brand, is excited to announce a new strategic alliance with Trenitalia, Italy’s national rail system connecting all of Italy and offering international connections to Switzerland, France, Germany and Austria.

‘Trenitalia Vacations by Railbookers’ combines Trenitalia’s far-reaching, high-velocity network train service with Railbookers extensive range of expertly planned, customizable vacation packages inclusive of rail, hotels, meals, sightseeing and more.

Trenitalia operates thousands of trains per day, connecting every major city in Italy, including Rome, Venice, Florence and Milan via high-speed lines, as well as over 200 regional destinations, like Lake Como, Cinque Terre, Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast, via intercity and regional lines.

“We are honored to partner with Trenitalia to launch Trenitalia Vacations by Railbookers,” said YLG President Frank Marini. “With Trenitalia’s 7,000 trains per day accessing every corner of Italy, as well as international connections to Switzerland, France, Germany, and Austria, we can offer a limitless amount of independent, customized train journeys for travel agents and their customers.”

Trenitalia Vacations by Railbookers has also launched a 2019 brochure featuring its top Italian vacation packages. The brochure includes several of Railbookers most popular itineraries, such as Venice via the Alps and Venice, Florence and Rome, highlighting top Italian city destinations and scenic rail journeys. New packages include The Italian Lakes, featuring stays in Lake Como, Lake Garda, and Lake Maggiore, as well as Gastronomic Capitals of Italy, showcasing the popular Italian foodie destinations of Bologna and Parma. Several other packages, including Venice and the Bernina Express and Rome via the Alps, combine the charms of Italy with the majesty of the Alps and feature iconic Swiss train journeys.
