Yankee Leisure Group (YLG) has unveiled the opening of its new office in Sydney, Australia. This announcement comes after the company experienced unprecedented growth and reflects the increasing demand in the Australian market for new ways to reach and discover North America, Europe and beyond.

The Sydney-based office expands YLG’s global footprint and enables its brands to better serve both travel agents and consumers. According to the Australian Federation of Travel Agents (AFTA), of the 10.5 million Australians who traveled overseas in 2017, 1,076,100 explored the USA and 623,200 visited Europe. In addition, Destination Canada reported that more than 375,000 travelers from Australia traveled to Canada, up 13 percent over 2016.

“We are excited about our new office in Sydney and the opportunity to work closer with our preferred travel agency partners,” said Frank Marini, President of Yankee Leisure Group.

“Today’s travelers possess ever-changing aspirations for more immersive and unique independent rail vacation experiences,” Marini added. “Now they’ll have convenient access to rail travel experts ready to assist with their every need.”
