Agents Gearing Up for Perfect Day at CocoBay

What’s in a name?

A lot, in the case of Royal Caribbean International’s private island in the Bahamas. It has a new name that describes both the destination and experience that awaits there.

Perfect Day at CocoCay debuts in May 2019. As its name implies, visitors can expect the most perfect day possible at a private island, and savvy agents are gearing up to sell Perfect Day as a premiere destination in and of itself.

Here’s why.

Royal Caribbean has completely transformed its private island with a list of attractions designed for “thrilling and chilling.”

MORE Cruise Line & Cruise Ship

Headlining the “thrills” category is the tallest water slide in North America. Located in the Thrill Waterpark, it drops a heart-pounding 135 feet. An additional twelve waterslides offer twists and turns for every range (and age) of thrill-seeker.

Other attractions include the Caribbean’s biggest wave pool. A zip line more than 1,000 feet long that makes a water landing is bound to be a hit. There’s nothing else like it in the Bahamas, and the Up, Up and Away helium balloon ride will take visitors 450 feet above the sparkling Caribbean.

Agents know that family groups are a perfect match for Royal Caribbean, and Perfect Day at CocoCay holds loads of appeal for younger cruisers. The Splashaway Bay kid’s zone is filled with fountains, sprinklers, slides, geysers and water cannons.

Of course, the Caribbean itself is synonymous with relaxation, aquamarine waters and white sand beaches. There are plenty of opportunities to enjoy all of that at Perfect Day. In the South Beach section of the island, guests can also take part in volleyball, beachside basketball, paddle boarding, kayaking and zorbing.

Clients interested in a more exclusive experience should consider The Coco Beach Club. It offers its own oceanfront infinity pool, enhanced culinary offerings and the only overwater cabanas in the Bahamas.

Royal Caribbean will call at Perfect Day at CocoCay on a weekly basis. Harmony of the Seas and Symphony of the Seas will begin sailing there in May. Clients can also enjoy the island on shorter cruises aboard the newly-renovated Navigator of the Seas.

Coming soon will be overnights and nighttime visits, extending a perfect day into the evening hours.
