Booking With Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours Just Got Even Better

WHY IT RATES: Finishing off the year with a bang, agents booking groups of 10 or more paying guests on dozens of select 2019 departures will receive two Tour Conductor credits.—Jessica Zickefoose, TravelPulse Associate Editor

Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours has made booking groups even more worthwhile, offering two Tour Conductor credits for every 10 paying guests booked, on dozens of select 2019 departures, if booked by Dec. 31, 2018. Combining this with offers to paying guests of free or reduced economy and premium roundtrip flights or discounts of $1,000 to $1,500 per person, depending on the length of the itinerary, makes this one of the best travel agent deals of 2018.

Scenic also offers a new Group Value Program that further enhances the agent opportunity for increasing their commission or rewarding booking guests. Further info can be found at scenicusa.com/special-offers/group-offers.

Itinerary choices for the 2TC sailings range from eight to 15 days and are available on Europe’s Rhine, Moselle, Danube and Main Rivers, France’s Gironde, Dordogne and Garonne in Bordeaux, Russia’s Volga, and SE Asia’s Irrawaddy and Mekong Rivers.

Scenic’s new Group Value Program gives agents a range of river cruise enhancements – from providing a box of chocolates in each suite to offering $50 to $150 per person savings/credits to increasing their own commission. Scenic offers these options as well as a strong field support team and marketing materials to help agents close the deals.

Travel agents can also point out to guests that Scenic is the only river cruise line to include a river cruise guarantee, automatically covering every guest on the commencement of their cruise for any delays or cancellations due to weather, high/low water issues, natural disasters, mechanical breakdowns or labor strikes, reimbursing approved claimants up to $750 per day with a maximum of seven days or $5,250 per guest, instead of the industry standard of future cruise credits.

The 5-star Scenic Space Ships offer all-inclusive luxury experiences – from private butler service and unlimited complimentary beverages and spirits including mini-bar re-stocked daily, to full-size private balcony staterooms – all making use of Scenic’s unique Sun Lounge technology – where the walkout open-air balcony can convert to an all-weather lounge with a push of a button, expanding the living area of the stateroom.

Plus, there is a vitality pool on the Sun Deck (on several Space Ships), a guest lift between decks, wellness area and fitness center. On board cuisine offers multiple dining options, including the French tradition of dégustation at Table La Rive, fine dining at Portobellos or L’Amour (on French ships) and the more casual fare at the River Cafe.

As with all Scenic river cruises, guests will never have to reach for the wallet or purse as everything (except a haircut or massage) is included: tips and gratuities, expert local guides, all drinks 24/7, all meals on board, all Scenic Freechoice activities that allow for a more personalized vacation, plus Scenic Enrich events which are exclusive to Scenic guests.

Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours has grown over its 31-year history to include award-winning, all-inclusive escorted tours that take participants to many of the world’s most fascinating destinations and since 2008, its 15 Space-Ships offer truly all-inclusive, five-star river cruises in Europe, SE Asia, Russia and Egypt. In 2019, Scenic is introducing the world’s first Discovery Yacht, the 228-guest Scenic Eclipse, and a sister ship to launch in 2021.

Additional information on these and other cruises, brochures and reservations can be obtained via travel agents or scenicusa.com; phone 844-788-7985; or email: info@scenicusa.com. Brochures can also be downloaded directly from the website.
